As a contracted special projects associate at NYU, I oversaw a team of graphic designers and communications assistants who developed and implemented visual branding, external communications, and university-wide events and initiatives. I continue to do freelance work for the university from time to time. Below are projects I’ve been able to spearhead or directly contribute to.

MLK WEEK — NYU AT LARGE

One of the largest projects I piloted for NYU was the design, planning, and execution of MLK Week 2022. From conception to launch, this project took months of formulation, collaboration, and drafting across my central design team and other offices across the university. The theme for this year was “the beautiful struggle for a new world.”

Role: lead designer

“Now, let us begin. Now let us rededicate ourselves to the long and bitter—but beautiful—struggle for a new world." —Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (“Beyond Vietnam,” 1967)
